What is it?
The National Book and Teaching Material Program (PNLD) comprises a set of actions aimed at distributing didactic, pedagogical and literary works, among other materials to support educational practice, aimed at students and teachers in public basic education schools in the Country. The PNLD also includes non-profit community, confessional or philanthropic institutions with agreements with the Public Power. Schools participating in the PNLD receive materials systematically, regularly and free of charge. It is, therefore, a comprehensive Program, constituting one of the main instruments to support the teaching-learning process in the benefited Schools.
Who is it aimed at?
PNLD's actions are aimed at students and teachers at public basic education schools, as well as non-profit community, confessional or philanthropic institutions with agreements with the Public Power.
