This app detects abnormalities such as earthquake precursors from the bias of generated random numbers. It displays the ratio of random number bits and cumulative deviation every 10 seconds in a graph.

EarthquakeForecastMonitor is an app that monitors the statistical bias of 0/1 bit strings obtained from hardware random numbers on Android devices, based on the experimental principles of the Global Consciousness Project (GCP), which was launched at Princeton University in 1998.
The app aggregates and accumulates the rate of "1" occurrences every 10 seconds, and considers an abnormality to be present if the rate of "1" occurrences is extremely high or low.
GCP is an international collaborative research project that analyzes data obtained from hardware random number generators (RNGs) installed around the world and the deviation of random numbers during large-scale events.

Significant bias in random numbers was also observed during the September 11 attacks and the Great East Japan Earthquake.
■ Main Features
・Hardware Random Number Acquisition
Acquires 50 bits of 0/1 bit strings every 10 seconds using SecureRandom.
・Automatically calculates and updates the "1" occurrence rate every 10 seconds.
・Graphs the random number ratio every 10 seconds.
・Graphs the cumulative bias of the random number ratio.
・Continues acquiring random numbers in the background, even when the app is closed.
■ User Guide
Launch the app and tap "START."
Continues random number acquisition and aggregation in the background.
Tap "Instant Random Number Graph" to view the random number ratio every 10 seconds in a real-time graph.
Tap "Cumulative Z-Score" to view the cumulative Z-score of the random number ratio in a real-time graph.
If the cumulative Z-score exceeds the p=0.05 line, the random number bias is significant and is considered to be an abnormal condition.
■ Note
This app is only designed to calculate the bias of random number ratios.
It does not guarantee earthquake prediction.
