"Bitig" (or betik), which gives our game its name, is an original Turkish word used by our ancestors for the concept of "book," meaning "written thing, book, inscription, letter" during the Göktürk and Uyghur Turkish periods. Its origin is based on the verb "Bitimek," meaning "to write."
Just like the Irk Bitig (Book of Divination) from the 9th century or the Bengü Bitig (Eternal Inscriptions) in the Orkhon Valley; you too can put the letters together and write your own story.
