How many times have you hit pause on Android Auto only for YouTube to continue playing in the background making you miss out on whatever you were listening to? And then, when you click play, you get blasted with music instead of what you wanted? Same. So I built DashRelay.

Why does DashRelay exist?
Because YouTube still doesn't offer proper playback controls on Android Auto, and I got tired of asking.

Will it control every app?
If the app plays media, DashRelay will try its best. Most apps work great. If you find one that doesn't, let me know!

Why is it free?
I built DashRelay to solve my own longstanding grievance and I figured other people probably have the same complaint.

Privacy?
DashRelay uses notification access only to detect what's playing and send basic playback commands. Everything stays on your device. No uploads, no tracking, no servers.
