Welcome to the official app for Livingston Parish Gravity Drainage District 1.

The Mission of Livingston Parish Gravity Drainage District One is to construct, maintain, and operate outlets for the waters of our district by acquiring drainage and flood prevention works, right-of- ways for canals and ditches, by utilizing the necessary equipment, and facilities to achieve this mission and the overall mission that is to prevent flooding.
Total Miles of Channels Maintained by LPGDD1 = 102 Miles Area of Watershed = 35,830 acres
The 102 Miles includes 56 square miles of land and properties with the main channels measuring 65 miles long.

CONTAINED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF GRAVITY DRAINAGE DISTRICT ONE INCLUDE:
- 41% of the Livingston Parish population
- 18% of all Livingston Parish ditches and canals
Gravity Drainage District One also encompasses all of the Denham Springs city limits, and as such, we work hand in hand with the Taxpayers of this district as well as the surrounding Entities to keep our drainage flowing
With this APP we want our constituents to not only see where your tax dollars are going, we also hope our APP will be used to report problems you may find so that we can address and correct the situation, as well as allow us to get out important information quickly that may be needed for public concern or safety.
