Warplanes: WW2 Dogfight has surprisingly simple gameplay: just slide your finger across the left side of the screen of your smartphone to fly the plane, while using the buttons on the right side of the screen to fire or speed up the plane. But you have to use the throttle and weapons wisely, or they could overheat. Finally, use the button on the left side of the screen to lock on targets, switch weapons, and change the shooting mode.

Warplanes: WW2 Dogfight is much more like an arcade game than a simulator, so the plane doesn't have realistic flight controls.
