Merchandise Accounting Assistant

The merchandise accounting assistant is responsible for supporting the processes of accounting and movement of goods in a warehouse and/or at a retail outlet. His responsibilities include checking receipts, preparing accompanying documents, maintaining a database of balances, as well as participating in inventories. The specialist monitors the accuracy and timeliness of information entry, helps in monitoring compliance with storage standards, expiration dates and other accounting parameters.
