Groups can be open for everyone, require approval to join, or remain private and accessible only through an invitation code. Inside every group there is a shared chat where members can communicate in real time. Important messages can be pinned so everyone can quickly find key information, and typing indicators help participants stay engaged in conversations.

Dream Date also introduces structured discussion topics that help groups organize ideas and reach decisions together. Topics move through several stages from open discussion to voting and finally to a confirmed decision. Visual indicators show the progress of each topic so members can clearly see what stage the discussion is in.

Voting tools allow participants to choose between multiple options and see the results update in real time. Once voting is completed, the results remain visible so the group can easily track decisions.

The app also includes built-in video calls so members can meet face to face and discuss plans together. Users can control their camera and microphone while participating in group conversations.
