- This is the classic version of Pajeú Encantado, developed in 2022 and released in 2023. Most recent update: 12.2025.

In the game, the player experiences a narrative in a completely fictional magical universe, with mystical challenges and battles, but, in the background, learns about the history of some poets from the Sertão do Pajeú region of Pernambuco and other surrounding areas.

The game also features an audio description narrative, an accessibility function to allow people with visual impairments to enjoy the game's narrative, a service available on the game's official Instagram page, @pajeuencantado.

Narrative: Amanda, Helena, William, and Cícero are four adventurers with very different personalities who have joined together in pursuit of the same dream: to reach the Floating City. The much-desired place is where the canons of popular poetry from the northeastern backlands reside, such as Rogaciano Leite and Louro do Pajeú, a kind of Olympus of popular poetry. However, the path to becoming a renowned poet is long, and to reach the final goal, understanding the motivations of one's journey, one must undertake a path of many challenges and lessons.

RPG: In a turn-based battle system, the characters evolve as the game progresses and the player wins battles and acquires items. It is possible to choose the priority order of the four protagonists, as well as equip the characters with the acquired items.

"The Adventures of an Enchanted Pajeú" or "Enchanted Pajeú - Classic Version" is a free turn-based educational adventure RPG game created by journalist, researcher, and filmmaker Jefferson Sousa, from Itapetim-PE, with sponsorship from the 2020-2021 Cultural Microproject Grant from the Pernambuco State Secretariat of Culture, through the Pernambuco Historical and Artistic Heritage Foundation (Fundarpe), and the Pernambuco Cultural Incentive Fund (Funcultura).

The 2025 updates were made possible with master sponsorship from the 2024 PNAB (Aldir Blanc National Plan) Grant from the Government of the State of Pernambuco.
