Introductions SteamVault: Gear Jumper
Navigate a steam-powered factory with conveyor platforms and gear springboards.
Five floors underground in a Victorian industrial complex, the SteamVault's machinery never stops. SteamVault: Gear Jumper is a precision platformer featuring three distinct platform types: normal iron walkways, directional conveyor belts, and spinning brass gear pads. Conveyors push your copper robot sideways — either a helpful boost in the right direction or a dangerous shove toward the edge — while gear pads launch the robot straight up with a catapult-force super-bounce and fountain of golden sparks. Reading the factory layout and choosing your landing zones becomes the core strategic layer.Smoke puffs rise from gear stacks as you clear them, steam jets shoot from pipe vents, and the dark iron-riveted walls glow amber from furnace light. Directional arrows on conveyor surfaces and the visual spin of gear teeth telegraph their function immediately, so the factory layout is legible at a glance. The robot character animates with a bobbing visor glow that intensifies yellow on gear bounces and dims to copper at rest. Death sends the robot dropping into the furnace below with a dramatic shower of sparks. With jump, move, and the layered platform logic, SteamVault rewards players who can plan two platforms ahead.
