GreenQuest: Rescue Tide is an interactive educational simulation that places the player in the role of a community leader responding to a rapidly developing flood emergency in a Lagos and urban community. The environment reflects recognizable building types common in Lagos, including riverside homes, multi-story residential buildings, markets, and roadside drainage systems. The player must coordinate evacuation, prioritize vulnerable individuals, and guide residents to safe areas while water levels continue to rise. The narrative emphasizes preparedness, decision-making, Indigenous knowledge, and collective responsibility. The experience is designed to reinforce practical knowledge about flood safety, evacuation behavior, structural and non-structural risk reduction measures, and climate resilience.
