Application used for USDA Forest Service cultural resource field data collection
Heritage Mobile is the application used by the USDA Forest Service and its contractors for cultural resource field data collection while disconnected from the USDA Forest Service network and the Internet. The USFS Heritage Mobile Help application is advised to install alongside this application. The Heritage Mobile application collects data in a .json file that is downloaded from USFS Heritage Web, loaded into the application, and then uploaded back to Heritage Web after data collection. It is intended for agency use only and is not maintained, supported, nor modified for external interests and purposes.Requirements: Android version 7 or greater (Heritage Mobile is not compatible with any Android version before 7); 1 GB minimum of available storage; internal or external GPS receiver; 7-inch display or greater.
